Turning Insight Into Results
Prior to establishing Strategic Wolf, Andrew co-founded Payment Metrics, an advisory firm servicing FinTech and bank clients. Payment Metrics client base included these prominent global financial institutions: Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and Western Union Business Solutions.
He was Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Monex USA and was instrumental in the firm’s evolution from a small one-office boutique to a large global financial corporation. His strategic and tactical responsibilities ranged across most of the company’s functions.
At Ruesch International he ran Marketing and Product Management supporting the firm’s multi-billion-dollar corporate business prior to the firm’s sale to private equity firm Welsh Carson.
Woelflein started his career at American Express Bank in New York where he managed bank clients in France, Switzerland, and the Benelux. After earning his MBA at Harvard Business School, he returned to New York and joined Bankers Trust to lead innovative initiatives in both North America (Canada) and Europe (United Kingdom).
Beyond his professional activity, Woelflein is an accomplished military art historian. He served as a Trustee of the renowned Anne S.K. Brown Military Collection for 28 years and is a published author. His illustrated talks on 18th - 20th century soldier-artists delight a wide range of audiences in the United States and Europe.
